SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS COUNTRY WEDDINGS
WHEN CARRIE BLUNT says t he b est place in t he
Southern Highlands to hold an unforgettable wedding
is Peppers, you can be assured that's what she truly
That's not just because Carrie's role is Wedding and
Events Manager for Peppers Craigieburn and Peppers
Manor House, but because she held her own magical
wedding this year at Peppers Manor House, where she
grew up exploring the grounds while her mother worked
there for 16 years.
Peppers Manor House has 41 rooms for an intimate
accommodation option for family and friends to share
in the celebrations, while just 15 minutes away, Peppers
Craigieburn has 72 rooms and the space for a more
grand scale event.
"Both properties are charming, family-friendly and have
absolutely beautiful gardens and lovely facilities, and at
both we can tailor each wedding to be unique," says
Carrie, who has helped more than 400 couples over the
past seven years. For her wedding, Carrie designed a
relaxed and fun event, including surprise helicopter rides
for the groomsmen and groom, John Ingrey.
"We did things like retire from the dining room to the
lounge, danced in the great hall, had a photo booth
and a lolly buffet so our guests could really let their hair
down," she laughs.
"For couples thinking of coming to Peppers, I can assure
them that what I do best is keep them calm and relaxed,
and make sure all the little details combine for their
wedding to be everything they've dreamt of. The best
thing is when they tell me their day was 'perfect'."
